Md. Fahad Rahman
After a diverse career path, I'm rediscovering my roots in engineering and pursuing research that bridges theory and real-world solutions.
Undergraduate Thesis
"Modification of the Experimental Setup for Measuring Viscoelastic Response of Super Elastic Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) Rod under Bending and Twisting"
The primary objective of the thesis was to measure the viscoelastic response of a superelastic Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) under twisting at constant angular intervals and to design a low-cost apparatus for that.

Project
"Automated Library System—Robotic Book Retrieval Prototype"
- Designed robotic claws and chassis using SolidWorks
- Fabricated components from laser-cut acrylic sheets
- Assembled and joined parts using solvent-based acrylic bonding
- Controlled servo motors and claw movement using Arduino Uno
- Implemented basic mobility on a wheeled platform
The project deepened my interest in mechanical design, rapid prototyping, and robotics systems integration.

Coursework
Completed "Introduction to Thermodynamics: Transferring Energy from Here to There" offered by the University of Michigan on Coursera (2020).
I've learned that precision is not about perfection—it's about patience.
Industrial Training
Completed a 21-day Industrial Training at Khulna Power Company Ltd. (2016).
